Sky Uppercut (スカイアッパー, Sky Upper) is Blaziken's up special move.

Overview

Blaziken leaps into the air with a spinning uppercut, its hand covered in flames as it does so. Travels about as high as Captain Falcon's Raptor Boost, and Blaziken can move to the left or right slightly while travelling upwards. If the player inputs up special and then holds the control stick in the opposite direction Blaziken is currently facing, Blaziken will turn around before ascending.

If a Shoryuken input is added to this move, Blaziken will perform Lava Plume at the height of its jump, causing a large geyser of fire to shoot out of the ground underneath Blaziken, and its air movement will halt as it poses inside the geyser. Any opponents caught in the geyser will take multiple hits before being launched away when the geyser disappears. Using Lava Plume causes Blaziken to take 6% in recoil damage.
