'''Phoenix Wright''' ({{ja|成歩堂 龍一|Ryūichi Naruhodō}}, ''Ryuichi Naruhodo'') is a playable character in ''{{smashwiki|Super Smash Bros. Ultimate}}'' and the fourth fighter from {{smashwiki|Capcom}} after {{smashwiki|Mega Man (SSBU)|Mega Man}}, {{smashwiki|Ryu (SSBU)|Ryu}}, and {{smashwiki|Ken (SSBU)|Ken}}. He was officially announced on Twitter as the second character of Hinata's personal modded Fighter's Pass. He is set to be released in 2025.

{{wp|Sam Riegel}}, who voiced Phoenix in ''{{wp|Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3}}'', ''{{wp|Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies}}'', and ''{{wp|Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice}}'', reprises his role as the character, via recycled voice clips from ''Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3''.

*Phoenix has a {{smashwiki|fighter ability}} called [[Turnabout Mode]]. Phoenix can use his down special, [[Investigate / Cross-Examine|Investigate]] to collect evidence, and if he collects three pieces of good evidence this way, landing his neutral special, [[Hold It! / Objection!|Objection!]] transitions him into Turnabout Mode. This mode lasts for approximately 30 seconds, and while in it he gains vastly increased stats, less endlag on moves, and even some new moves entirely.
*Akaza is a combo-heavy fighter, and somewhat lightwegiht. He has the fighter ability to initiate Surge or Boost depending on circumstances, both give Akaza speed and damage multipliers
*Phoenix has a command input special, [[M-Maya?!]]. By inputting a quarter circle input on the controller (↓ ↘ → ) and then pressing either attack or special, Phoenix can summon his assistant Maya Fey to the field to do one of two moves, depending on which button is pressed in conjunction with the quarter circle input.
**Boost is done by pressing the Special Button + Guard Button, this works at 70% or more.
***x1.5 ground speed, x1.2 attack multiplier for 30 seconds
**Surge is done by pressing the Special Button + Guard Button, this works at 70% or more, but only at final stock.
***x1.7 ground speed, x1.5 attack multiplier for 10 seconds
