Bat Breaker is Ichiban's down special move.

Overview

Ichiban confidently strides forward, twirling his bat in his hand as he does so. If hit during this state, Ichiban will counter the opponent by crouching down and swinging his bat at them. The power of the counterattack scales with the strength of the attack blocked.

Bat Breaker, as seen in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Bat Breaker is a skill learned by Ichiban's unique Hero class in Yakuza: Like a Dragon at level 6, and in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth at level 1. It does not have any counterattack properties in either game, instead being just a powerful swing of Ichiban's bat targeted at a single enemy. The animation for the move is identical to its look in Ultimate, however.
