Courtroom No. 4 (法廷第4号室, Courtroom No. 4) is a stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate from the Ace Attorney series. It is based on the courtroom of the same name from the Ace Attorney series.
Stage overview
The stage takes place on a platform floating above the courtroom. The background consists of the courtroom itself, with the judge watching over the trial from his bench. The witness stand, along with the defense and prosecution benches, are empty.
The stage consists of one large platform, shaped similarly to a standard Battlefield or Ω form platform, with two golden platforms suspended from the ceiling via chains hanging above the stage near the corners of the main platform. During the match, these platforms will slowly move up and down in sync with each other (e.g., when the left platform moves up, the right platform moves down, and vice versa).
Ω form and Battlefield form
The Ω form and Battlefield form take place in the same area as the main stage, with little difference. In the Battlefield form, the two golden platforms will be brought closer together, and a third platform of a different design will be suspended in between them. In the Ω form, the golden platforms disappear entirely.

Hazards Off
With Hazards off, the two golden platforms do not move, staying in their initial position for the entire match. Outside of that, the stage is unchanged.
Origin

The courtroom is the main stage for the trial portions of Ace Attorney's gameplay. After a thorough investigation of the crime, players will find themselves in a courtroom to face off against the prosecutor for a given case and prove their client's innocence.

Courtroom No. 4 was largely just another courtroom in the Ace Attorney series up until Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, at which point the courtroom was bombed and destroyed in the middle of a trial in an attempt to murder police detective Candice Arme. After being bombed, it was used again in its still-destroyed state for the trial to reach the truth of the murder of Metis Cykes, otherwise known as the UR-1 Incident, due to no other courtrooms being available at the time. At some point between Dual Destinies and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice, the courtroom was repaired and cleared for regular use again.
