Dig is Knuckles' Neutral special move.

Overview

Knuckles burrows into the ground, where he is able to move left or right freely. Upon releasing the button, or after approximately 3 seconds have passed, Knuckles will leap out of the ground with a spinning rising uppercut, dealing damage to anyone above him when he re-emerges.

In the air, Knuckles will perform Drill Claw instead. Knuckles will pause for a moment, and then begin to head directly towards the ground while spinning. Any opponents he hits will be dragged down with him until he goes underground, taking damage all the while. Upon reaching the ground and burrowing underground, this move functions the same as it does on the ground.

Instructional quote

Move List		Dig into the ground, where Knuckles is free to move around before popping out for a follow up. In the air, he uses Drill Claw.
